Ms. Toccaro Greene serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Inspector General (OIG). In support of the organization’s business objectives and driving its digital transformation, she leads the team responsible for the organization’s IT strategy and oversight of the information technology portfolio, infrastructure, information management, and IT security operations. With over 20 years of experience in information technology, she specializes in solutions architecture, systems integration, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
Before joining HUD OIG, Ms. Greene was the CIO and Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer for the U.S. Department of Commerce, OIG, where she spearheaded transformational initiatives such as the adoption of Zero Trust architecture, significantly enhancing data security and operational efficiency. She also oversaw the implementation of enterprise resource planning systems and specialized software solutions tailored for law enforcement and auditing, ensuring alignment between IT and business objectives.
Ms. Greene holds both a master’s degree in Management Information Systems and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Bowie State University, along with certifications in IT management, cybersecurity, and project management including Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster certification and ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
