Jackson, TN – Kimberly King Harvey, 42, of Soddy Daisy, TN, was sentenced last week to 36 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge J. Daniel Breen following her guilty plea to one count of aggravated identity theft, one count of mail fraud, and one count of making false statements, announced U.S. Attorney Edward L. Stanton III.

While working as a nurse assistant at Bartlett Nursing Home in Bartlett, TN, King met a co-worker with a name similar to hers, who was employed as a licensed practical nurse (LPN). After the co-worker moved away, King fraudulently obtained a Tennessee State Driver’s License and Social Security card in the woman’s name.

King then used those pieces of identification to obtain a copy of her former co-worker’s Tennessee LPN license and later to apply for a job at Humboldt Nursing Home in Humboldt, TN. King was employed there from April 7, 2009 until May 4, 2009.
